I just watched a Ludicrous Feed video on an OTA to his BYD Seal which fixed ADAS issues customers complained of. 95% of the 3 million cars BYD sold last year were sold in China. Only recently have they pushed overseas. There are many unique situations in different parts of the world that can catch manufacturers out. BYD are demonstrating intent to fix these as soon as they can. How many years has the VW ID range had crap software? How many years were Teslas built with questionable QC? When will Toyota build an EV that has more than 2/3 the claimed range?
